04 Aug Electric bicycle: not only for seniors
Energy for extra movement
We all know that exercise is good for you. But it does sometimes get worse. And that while it can be so much fun! It is all that little bit easier with an electric bicycle . Experience shows that you let the car stand faster and that you enjoy your surroundings much more while cycling. And do you cycle through a nice village? Then of course you quickly stepped away to enjoy a nice terrace. With the electric bike you also have energy for the rest of the day. And that in turn provides more energy and ultimately also movement. A win-win situation for us!
For the longer distances you should choose a hybrid eBike. This type of bicycle is often lighter and has multiple gears and can often be recognized by an open chain guard.
Environmentally friendly alternative to the car
We have already mentioned it. The electric bicycle is a good alternative to the car. You can make slightly longer distances with an electric bike than with a normal bike. And it is precisely at those slightly longer distances that we are quickly inclined to take the car. With a good electric hybrid bicycle with a high-quality bicycle battery you can go where you want, so to speak. For the (local) commuter this is of course a very good reason to leave the car and use the bicycle more often. Many employers even encourage this with bicycle schemes.
Did you know that there are also high-speed bicycles? These so-called Speed Pedelecs reach speeds of up to 45 kilometers per hour! Wearing a helmet is then logically mandatory.
Bicycle charging points
A word that you will probably score high at Scrabble! But did you know that in the Netherlands for many bike charging stations where you can load your bike. In the unlikely event that you have an empty bicycle battery, this is not a disaster. The coverage of charging points in the Netherlands is relatively high, so you don’t have to worry about running out of power.
Just don’t forget your charger, because the connections are far from universal.
