There are many more products than I can review on this page, but I am posting some of the better ones here.
I will list the product and how it helps in some depth, but here are a few important things to know:
Achilles is the single most important tendon in your body. If it is damaged, it will affect your ability to walk, run, and jump. If you've read my article about how to rehabilitate a torn Achilles tendon, you'll know that the best place to start is to see a chiropractor. The first step in rehabilitating an Achilles is to have a specialist evaluate your foot. A specialist can tell you exactly what is causing the problem, and may recommend an injury specific product. There are some products available that have a good record of helping injured feet, but I'll be more specific here.
So what about the "chicken and egg" thing? Is there a good correlation between injury-specific products and injuries? I believe there is. But it's a bit of a mystery why this is. The first thing we must understand is that the vast majority of people with an injury are not in fact injured. I know from talking to thousands of people over the past decade, that while many of us do have some kind of ankle or knee issue that requires some kind of treatment, we are very rarely hurt. Many of us who have injuries are simply injured, and need something different.
