I do know the difference between men's and women's products, but I have seen plenty of reviews of men's products that contain no estrogen and no progesterone. I have never been to a website that only contains reviews of women's products. I know that there are products for men's use that aren't listed as 'for women.' I've seen reviews where the person's doctor is listed as the only person who can prescribe these products. I am also familiar with some products that contain no progesterone or estrogen. I know what they do. They are for the woman. My daughter has had some problems in the past with a medical condition called adrenal insufficiency, in which the adrenal glands in the lower part of the body are not functioning properly. If she is not given adequate amounts of estrogen and progesterone, she can develop a number of hormonal imbalances that can lead to a lot of problems. She also has a blood test that is meant to assess her levels of progesterone, which she must have before being prescribed any medication. If she has a low progesterone level, we may need to be concerned about the effects of the medication. But if she has a normal progesterone level, then it is very important that we give her all the hormone she needs.
